Growing career opportunities in Digital/Online/Internet/Interactive Marketing

I'm still surprised that not many people have noticed, both the growth of job opportunities and lack of experienced professionals in digital marketing.

Marketing professionals and job seekers that start embracing digital channels will be in better position to be considered for more job opportunities now and in the future, and grow their marketing careers in the long-term.

Check the attached article which discusses the evolution and opportunities in digital marketing.

Saludos,

Giacomo

I have noticed Giacomo! we searched for a marketing director at LatPro for several YEARS but the market was always so hot that it was extremely difficult and we never did find the person we were looking for in Florida...

Great article. Well written. As Eric said the demand is noticeable but not realized by many. I know a friend of mine has noticed as she is in a Masters Program at the University of Washington that specializes in digital media.

Hey Giacomo, hope your article on digital mkt is openning new venues and creating some interest among LatPro readers and beyond.
Central America is slowly picking up on that new business area.

Very interesting article. I am Managing Director of a company that specializes in developing Intelligent Software Agents that can only be done by analysis and measurements of specific criteria relative to online communications. I am in the process of developing my own web site where I will market my skills as I finish my Ph D. I agree that online marketing is more effective than the traditional methods and very soon online personal marketing will be a priority.

Great article. It leaves the impression that something is missing in the recruting methods used to search for new intense digital passionate marketing people. 4 years ago, I needed a digital sales person. I remembered a classmate. He was very knowledgeable in IT and online social networking when we were at school. I found out he was selling lumber purchased in Central America exported to US east coasts. He wasn’t looking for a job. I managed to convince him to change his career for a Digital Sales position. He grew in the company to a marketing director position.
