New Member from Pittsburgh, PA

Hi,

I'm a Brazilian native working as a Talent Sourcing Analyst at PNC Financial Services in Pittsburgh, PA. We are one of the largest financial services organizations in the nation and headquartered in Pittsburgh.
My role involves creating strategic public relations and marketing campaigns, branding, sourcing candidates, screening candidates, community outreach, attending events and job fairs and executing them on our site.
We have a small Latino population in Pittsburgh which makes it difficult to find bilingual candidates. But I've succeeded in hiring someone from New Jersey which was really exciting.
Pittsburgh has been selected for the G-20 Summit and we will be hosting 20 presidential delegations which is awesome because it will show the world that this city is a secret gem.
I also host a radio show, promote/produce and deejay a world music event and participate actively in my community as board member of the Multicultural Arts Initiative and Latin American Cultural Union. I also created a site for the Brazilian Community at www.arrepiabrasil.org and lead its initiatives and events.
I'm looking forward to meeting colleagues from other areas and organizations.
