Hola a todos!!!! :0) My name is Ruth, I am from Colombia and have been here in the US for 14 years. I have lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and now here in Baltimore. I went to school to Immaculata University in Pennsylvania, and just recently graduated in May of 2008. I am now looking for a job here in Baltimore. I would like to work somewhere where I can help people in need. Although I did not study to be a social worker or anything similar to that, this is what I want to do. I know I discovered this towards the end of my college career, but I would like to try and pursue this anyway. I actually just recently moved to Baltimore, so I don't have a favorite place yet. However, if you guys have any suggestions of places to see or activities for me to try, let me know and I may try it. I like trying new things. I like to do sports and stay active, listen to music, and also read. I would like to travel around the world and see new places. I love languages, and would like to learn more. I would love to connect and share experiences with you guys, it's always great to learn from others. Hope to get to know you all better!!!! :0)

Chao,
Ruth

Hello,

My name is Elisa Estrella and I moved to Baltimore about six months to take a position as a Marketing Manager in a financial services company. Unfortunately, our current economy really hit us hard and I was laid-off in January. I am currently looking for full-time employment however, I have also taken this opportunity to launch my own consulting organization. My parents are from the Dominican Republic and I was born and raised in New York but I have lived in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Philadelphia, PA and now I live in Maryland.

My ideal dream job is have a successful, thriving business that allows me utilize my creative expertise. Lately, I have been into Paulo Coehelo's books...all of them! The Alchemist being my favorite. I love all types of music but I have to admit that Latin music moves me the most. My hobbies vary depending on the weather, but overall I like things where action is involved versus being a spectator.

I hope to see our community grow in Baltimore.
