I started in IT when I attended a computer programming technical school directly out of high school. I eventually quit the school and joined the military. This experience eventually moved me to obtain a BS in Computer Information Systems Management. Currently I hold a position as the IT Contracts Manager with a focus primarily on professional services contracts.

Hello all:
My name is Pedro. I've been working as an IT Director/Manager for several years and also worked on the end-user support for the past 15 years. I first graduated in Dominican Republic as System Analyst and also got my BS in Computer Science in May 2001 at the NYIT. Since then, I've always enjoyed every project I've worked with. Enrique Arguello Comment by Enrique Arguello on May 12, 2009 at 9:08pm
Hello, my name is Enrique Arguello, I started in I.T. by default, I was the only "younger" person at a very small work place of only 4 other people, and when I started they didn't even have computers, I had taken some classes in college, but hated programming, and didn't really think I'd ever do this for a leaving. When we got our first computers, everyone looked up to me to set them up and eventually fix them, before that I was actually a Cruise Director in Cancun. Then I got a job as a computer tech at the local news paper, and now after about 13 years of doing this, I'm the I.T. Manager for the largest privately owned Staffing Agency in the State of Indiana, and not only that but I'm the only I.T. person for the entire company which until before the recent economy downturn had 18 offices all over the State of Indiana which have to constantly be up and connected to the main corporate office via VPN, and about 120 employees, ranging from Network Infrastructure to training people that have never actually turned a computer on (I know I couldn’t believe it either). I also help the company with countless translations, in person at factories, or Doctor Appointments for our employees, as well as translating their forms, letters, presentations and whatever else needs translated.
