I am transitioning to the profession of fiinancial advisor, and could use as much information as I can get. I am an accounting and finance professional with BS and Mba degrees. This something I have been looking to do for the last 8 years but never had the time to do it. Thus, any information or advise I can get from any one is welcomed. One of my long term goals is to launch my own hedge fund.

I'm a Financial Planning and Business Analyst in Mexico City, Mexico with a concrete practical background at developing, delivering and communicating decision-making / problem-solving alternatives intended to create and improve operational (financial, administrative, informational) efficiencies being also able to add value to these processes.

For the time being, I’ve been seeking a new full time opportunity within the salaried work force that could contribute to strengthen and consolidate my skills, knowledge, scope and therefore, my financial focus.

On the other hand, I've been working meticulously on leveraging and consolidating my knowledge by developing a mixture of personal and voluntary consulting engagements (currently developing a business venture).

I joined the LatPro some weeks ago. I was born in Utah and have lived in Venezuela. I currently work as a Bank Examiner. I also have experience working in a financial institution and a mortgage servicer. I have currently passed the test for the Certified Fraud Examiner designation. I plan to graduate this year from the Graduate School of Banking, Colorado. I am particularly interested in South American Politics/Finance/Economics. I just joined LatPro and found out about this group. I was born in Peru and worked for Bank of America Premier Banking and Investments until April second of this year. There were changes at the bank and due to the employee reduction I got affected. I work as a Financial Analyst for American Student Assistance, in Boston. We help students to finance and pay back their student loans for higher Education.
