My name is David Nehdar and I am originally from Pasadena, CA, now living in the Miami area. Im looking to network with more people from LA as eventually, would like to relocate back home. My professional background has been in senior Sales & Marketing Management for CPG companies such as Dole, Playtex & Con Agra, both in domestic and International roles. Ive lived in South America (Paraguay) and the Caribbean (Puerto Rico) and worked extensively in pretty much all countries in Latam / Caribbean. My favorite LA activity is hiking above PCH off Sunset Bl, there's no better spot to see the mountains and ocean. Favorite LA food would be In-n-out Double-Double. Hope to begin networking w/more of you. Also, pls advise is you come to Miami as I'd be glad to help out and be a contact for you. Saludos Cordiales

Hello my name is Katiuska and I was born in Lima, Peru. My dream career would be working for a US NGO based in Peru. The person who has always inspired me is my mom. She was an immigrant and worked hard to support me and instill in me the importance of getting an education. I love living in Los Angeles and the variety of places to choose from food to all kinds of entertainment scenarios, and of couse its diversity. My favorite music is 80's. I hope that through this medium I am able to network and meet other professionals.

What is your dream career? What do you hope to do to attain that? Create, Plan and Executive special events (galas, weddings, social events, etc)
Who has most inspired you? My nana, 80 yr old lady who taught me many things when I was young, I am who I am because of her.
Where is your favorite place to hang out in Los Angeles? The Grove and Pasadena,
What's your favorite book? The Four Agreements
What is your favorite type of music? Music is beautiful

What is your dream career? What do you hope to do to attain that? VP of Human Resources for a Fortune 500 Company in USA.

Who has most inspired you? Most recently, President Obama. His tenacity and ability to perform his presidential role while remaining cool during these difficult economic times.

Where is your favorite place to hang out in Los Angeles? Griffith Park--It has a lot of great places for a good run.

What's your favorite book? The Servant Leadership by John Hunter

What is your favorite type of music? Rock en Espanol, Mana! Also Gypsy Kings--Their music is terrific!

What are your hopes for the Los Angeles LatPro group? Network as much as possible and be able to meet professionals who like to help other professionals advance in their careers and professional lives.

I was born in Mexico City. My expertise and passion is in marketing and sales. I especially love creating and training new sales teams.

The person who most inspired me is my father. I know it sounds cliche, but it's not easy to be an orphaned boy of a third world country and end up being in the top 10% of income producers in the worlds most powerful country.

I would love opportunities to network and meet more professional Latinos. Unfortunately, so far my business ventures have not introduced me to many Latinos yet.

I am Jose A. Munguia II, I was born in El Salvador and came to the U.s. when I was only 11 months old.
My dream career position would be to become the General Manager of a boutique hotel. I am presently completing my BS in Hotel Management at The University of Phoenix and have over 25 years of hotel experience. I have been fortunate to work at some of the best hotels on the west coast.
I like hanging out at The Bonaventure or Marriott Hotels in Los Angeles, specifically downtown hotels. There is a special feeling only found in the grand hotels.
Well since I am a Christian man, I would have to say that my favorite book would have to be the Bible. It has answers for any situation and the best source of inspiration for anyone. It has provided inspiration and direction for millions throughout the ages.
My favorite type of music is salsa, I enjoy playing the sax to soft jazz music also.
My hopes for the LatPro Los Angles group is that it will develop into a strong networking group where we can share and help each other in climbing the ladder of success, by advising each other of openings and opportunities. Those already in management positions can extend their hands out to those in the group, remembering our traditional saying: "Union hace' la fuerza!"
