Bernard Madoff certainly raised the bar for how far a person will go just to have a cushy life style. I'm wondering how the mind of this type of person works. Please, some one help me understand, is it like a high? Does a person that has scammed someone of let's say 100 million, just has to keep moving to get 200 million, then to a billion and that's not enough? Do you always run scared or do you become numb and forget about it? What happens when you are looking into the eyes of someone who you have consistently scammed?

Too many questions that perhaps will never be answered. I personally want to earn all that I can with my intelligence, hard work and luck. I may not remember right but I think that I read somewhere that the Vikings considered something more important than stone or metal, something that last beyond any material; they cared most for their reputation, because one’s reputation lasts beyond anything material. A hundred years from now no one may not remember me but they will remember Madoff, as the greatest cheat of this period.

All the best,

Francisco
