Hi:
I've been in SoFla for 9 years now.
Previously in St. Louis where I ran an international specialty-chemical manufacturing conglomerate which did quite a bit of business in LatAm. One of the manufacturing plants was in Venezuela, so I got to spend quite a bit of time there, but travelled extensively throughout the region visiting customers and creating business.
I'm always looking for new ventures and adventures and my latest project now is hopefully opening a small independent Porsche Shop. Anyone want to be my partner?

Hello there, I am another one who does not live in South Florida, but... I used to live in Miami for about 5 years. Mi ex-wife still lives there and even if I go crazy with the Florida traffic (and especially in Miami) I just can't help feeling something special about it.

By the way, my first language is Spanish and I am an Spanish-language Editor so it's always easy for me to translate from Eng to Spanish. I live now in Tuscaloosa, AL, and I am an Editor of a magazine for Hispanic, Spanish-speaking truckers.Yes, you are reading right. I deal with translating/editing and proofreading the monthly editions. You may see the website at www.transportistamag.com; but you an also check out a digital edition --just like the real thing-- in this website: www.transportistadigital.com

Please take a look and make comments, and be cruel if you want, I am a grown-up man!

Well, nice to meet you and hopefully we can follow conversations here and become friends. .

Hi fellow Floridians, I am glad to join the Group. I grew up in Buenos Aires and lived in Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City before moving to Miami nineteen years ago. Two of my children live New York, NY and Boulder, CO. The third is a wine specialist and is teaching and working in Miami. I have a small consulting firm focused on Latin America and I am considering joining a renowned financial firm as a financial advisor. I love fishing and love (but suck) playing tennis and golf.

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself, before coming here to U.S. pursuing further education in the conflict resolution field I practice law in Peru for several years, working in the private sector and with the government too. I am an active dispute resolution practitioner here in United States. I work with a training and development consulting firm specializing in negotiation, consensus building, relationship management, and conflict prevention. This means I help others use negotiation, strategic thinking and consensus building strategies to reach agreement, negotiate solutions, improve working/business relation, and facilitate complex conversations. I do this as consultant, helping people deal with challenging situations. I also do this as trainer, teaching others hoe to handle disputes more constructively. And I do this as negotiation and conflict management coach, working one-on-one with clients who want to negotiate more effectively, get better results, and turn challenges into opportunities. For instance, have you ever run into a difficult situation with one of your clients, employees, colleagues, partners, providers, or know someone who has?...
I do international and domestic work; I help small businesses and companies with cross-cultural negotiations, strategic alliances, organizational changes, labor-management relations, dispute resolution systems design, conflict/interests assessments, consensus building, international negotiation, mediation, international development and foreign direct investment, especially between U.S. and Latin-American countries. I am also chair of the International Development Committee of the ACR’s International Section.

Welcome to the LatPro network!

LatPro was launched in 1997 to become the very first job board connecting Hispanic & bilingual professionals with recruiters. We still lead the field, consistently ranking among the top Internet job boards. Now you can join our professional network. While this is designed for you to connect with new people who share your interests it's not for soliciting or promoting any business opportunity - please ask for clarification if in doubt.
