- about me
- Career and goals: A. My personal and professional goals go hand in hand. It is my intention to create an organization of professional help for Hispanic women of scarce means and with minimal education in Savannah. By taking leadership courses, working in the field within Hispanic communities (families), and through developing projects that include networking with other organizations and leaders in our community, I can accomplish this goal. In three years I see myself traveling to other states and throughout Latin America developing plans and programs towards the self-development of Hispanic communities. On a larger scale, I would like to pursue a career in social services and to see my three children as young Hispanic leaders and ambitious professionals. B. Optimistic, perseverant and determined. C. Areas of development: the English language, especially writing. Tolerance (diplomacy) in face of corruption and hypocrisy; also, monitoring my habits that sometimes make me forget that there is another part of my life waiting at home.

- Trabajo desde Agosto 2007 en la organizacion mas grande dedicada a ninas y mujeres : Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. Mi trabajo es basicamente: reclutar ninas como miembros GS, adultos mujeres como voluntarias lideres, entreno aesas mujeres para ser modelos de las ninas Hispanas, enseno a una comunidad Americana como lidiar con una nueva cultura; la Hispana, traduzco materiales de Ingles al Espanol, diseno material publicitario para Hispanos, soy una facilitadora entre la comunidad Hispana y la Americana y sobre todo involucro a la comunidad a tomar accion para el desarrollo. Y es que detras de cada nina Girl SCout Hispana, existe una familia Hispana de primera generacion que quiere ser escuchada , y no necesita estereotipos, necesita gente comun y corriente.
