Hello...Hola! Nice to meet you, My name is Agustina, Auggie for short. I am a Hispanic female that is breaking into the force field of Translation. I currently do not have any certificates, but know I know how many ways to get them and how to actually go about all of it. I'm very thrilled that I have found a broad internet world, to help me get to my specific field of work. It is great that there are so many Hispanic supporters world-wide that I didn't know about! I am starting to build my future... and it's exciting!

what is your current, past or ideal job title?

I have had jobs that I enjoy, specially at the Hampton Inn where I was the Front Desk Clerk and had to translate to housekeeping. I also connected with Hispanics working as a sales rep at Friedman's Jeweleres and would feel special speaking my native language to Hispanics in Spanish and we would together find nice jewelery! I currently am not employed, but excited to leave dead-end jobs behind and start with this!

your connection with Latin America?

I lived in Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, my birthplace, until I was 10. It was very hard to start a new, unexpected life in an unknown and foreign country. After all these years I still have the same traditions and hold the same Hispanic culture, my family and I made sure we kept that. I feel like this is the same/close connection that any other Hispanic person moving to a foreign country would feel, so whenever I am around a Latino, I can't help but start up a conversation in our native language... Hola como estas?

your favorite Latin American city? vacation spot? food?

Mar Del Plata, Argentina. And it's not because that is where we my single mother and I moved to for a few years. It's because, Google it out and you will see, this city has beautiful beaches (hence the name). I would love to visit other countries, but I have not been that lucky. Next time I have a vacation spot I will make sure it's a good one! A mi me encantan las milanesas!!! Y si sos de Argentina sabes, de lo que te estoy hablando...! Alfajores, dulce de leche.... YUM.
