about me
I was born in Kansas, USA into an Army family and raised in Spain and Germany. I graduated from West Point and the Army assigned me as the Signal Adviser to the Colombian Army. As a civilian I lived 12 years in Panama and 2 in Brazil. Currently I live in South Florida.
I have a demonstrated track record of going into troubled or underperforming markets in Latin America and identifying/implementing solutions.

I was raised in Spain where I learned Spanish. I have lived and worked in Colombia (2 years), Brazil (2 years) and Panama (12 years). I speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently. I have a lifetime of experience with Latin American and Caribbean communities, cultures, politics, and legislative environments.
your favorite Latin American city? vacation spot? food?
I cannot pick a favorite city - they are all wonderful and different - each having their own wonderful flavor and ambiance.
For sun and sand vacations, I like Barbados, Rio de Janeiro and Puerto Vallarta. For culture and history, I like Quito, Bogota, Rio de Janeiro and Panama City.
My favorites are feijoada (Brazil), Ajiaco (Colombia), ceviche (Peru and Panama) and bife de chorizo with ensalada de berros (Argentina).

I have lived in Colombia, Brazil and Panama. I have worked in Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Curacao, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.
