I am a sensible Colombian guy, born and raised in Queens, NY. I am always seeking new opportunities to network and make connections with others who share similar interests.

what is your current, past or ideal job title?

My ideal job title, at the moment, is to be a brand manager or product strategy manager for any business, preferably within the luxury sector. I seek to impact business strategy directly and work closely with others to drive growth. I also am a passionate writer and one day hope to publish a set of short stories, or a longer fiction piece.

your connection with Latin America?

My parents were both born in Colombia, a fact of which I am quite proud.

your favorite Latin American city? vacation spot? food?

I would have to say I really enjoy my mother's town of Villavicencio, in the llano region of the country. I would love to visit Chile, Argentina, and Peru.

I have lived and worked in New York.

I am a graduate of Columbia College, with a BA in History. My specialty was Pre-modern and contemporary Latin American History

I have worked for Moody's Investor Service and am currently working in the marketing team at Bloomingdale's.

I love to write. I try to work on my blog whenever I can (www.goldquill.wordpress.com). I enjoy working on poetry, short stories, and am initiating a longer fiction piece.
