Hi Lanyon,
I have just added you as a friend and then found myself in your page! Hello again. Are you familiar with Innoventure in Greenville? Well, I will be presenting (there) an invention that I made and Clemson University patented back in 2001 and 2002. It will be held on March 23 and 24. I am looking for a way to upgrade the micropropagation technology worldwide. I am not a business person; even though I have been taking courses in Clemson (Entrepreneurship, Accounting, etc.) to no avail...It is just not in my veins. I am a science nerd and I do like people; especially those who think "outside of the box". I will be working in Clemson until September of this year; but I am hoping to start something by April. So wish me luck!

I visited Tulsa in June, 1989 (American Society for Horticultural Science Conference). It looked like it was deserted; some tall but empty buildings. It might have been during a holiday or something (could never explain why there were no people around). Rio Piedras and Hato Rey are large suburbs (or towns) stemming from the capital city, San Juan, where the largest concentration of people live; chances are you will meet someone from the big city before you meet someone from a small, second-city (like me, from Mayaguez). The waterfalls in the mountains are very nice. I have been to some but forgot their names. I wonder how long it will take for this group to grow to 50! Never been to Asheville, but heard it is great (if you have money...).

Who is Carlos? I know a few "Puertoricans" in the area; but have not made many latin friends altogether...

Hola!
I wish I was, but haven't had the opportunity yet. If I know anything I will let you know.
:-)
