You may be good at training people on what you've learned. I'm not sure if it's what you want, but you may want to think of it as an option. There are many training centers that sometimes need help.

Look for software companies in either sales or as a trainer. With your teaching background, you would make a great trainer.

Why did the Gringita graduate at 45 years old in 2009, double majoring in Spanish & Latin American Studies?

Yes, it's been affirmed by many that I'm old to graduate at 45, but I sure don't feel like it! Most of my professors were younger than I and it really didn't matter to me. Spanish opened up my world. It was a vicious cycle of tragedies that inspired me to get an education. So, first I'll tell you about my tragedies.
I was laid-off from my job, then three months later (July 14, 2001) my dad's plane crashed, killing him. My dad was my fun. He took me snow-skiing, water-skiing, rafting, mountain cl… Continue

Hi Leslie, thanks for responding so fast. Well, first of all, good luck on your job interview, hope it all goes well. I am trying to finish my BSB on Global Management, it is actually taking me longer than expected, but without a job, I had to put some things on hold. But anyway, my mother language is Spanish, and I do speak both English and Spanish equally well. I went to school on both countries, so I think I have that advantage over others, but here on the corporate world it doesn't seem to matter. Can't find a job. I don't give up hope. I am glad that I found this networking site, it gives hope to us all, ;) Again, thank you for commenting back, Bea.

Hi Leslie, don't fell bad if you graduated at age 45, I am going back to school, and by the sound of it, I might finish at 45 and proud. I would also love to get a job that takes me places, and not just from my house to the office. Well, anyway, hope to hear from you soon, Bea.
