My name is Rebecca Lynn and I am recent college graduate with a passion for life, music, writing and languages. I enjoy trying new things and getting to know people. My favorite kind of day consists of me playing guitar and writing in my back yard, while drink a cup of coffee.
I've studied Spanish since I was 14 and visited Mexico for a college study abroad trip. Because of my long-term interaction with the Spanish language and culture, I have garnered many Hispanic friends over the years.

I really liked Cuernavaca, Mexico, where I studied abroad-- the weather was nice and the people were sweet. I also liked Teotihuacán because the Sun and Moon pyramids were incredible. I would really like to revisit the Sun Pyramid one day.
I'd also really like to go to Puerto Rico- possibly live and work there.

I've only lived in the United States of America. If I had a great work opportunity abroad, though, I'd not hesitate to go. I love traveling.

what companies have you worked for?
Myriads- I've been working and/or been enrolled in school since I was fifteen. I have had a variety of jobs and experiences.

Find out what is needed in your city: medical Spanish, social work Spanish, translating in the courts and schools, business Spanish, etc. Develop the vocabulary in that area and offer to help a company or hospital or district. I have done all of these. Join a translation company to get exposure. Go to universities and check on federal grants for Spanish translations or development of Spanish projects.
Welcome to LatPro, Rebecca! I'm a translator, too. You might want to go to groups and join the translator group. There's also a group for people in education.
Again, welcome!
