Currently working in HR at a community college. Originally from El Paso, Texas and served in the Marine Corps for 20-years prior to retiring and moving to Arkansas. Also, currently serve as the Secretary for Arkansas LULAC Council 754. Finally, I have a marketing consultation firm, Rey Hernandez Marketing.

Once owned a Mexican restaurant in Siloam Springs, AR for the purpose of providing authentic Mexican food to locals. Plus it was the only way I could be sure to get my favorite Pollo con Mole. Loved my trip to Guadalajara, Mexico and would love to return there. Wish to travel some day.

Emerging Need for Latino Teachers and Professors

There is a huge gap in representation from the Latino community in the teaching profession. Maybe not so apparent in typically Hispanic areas of the country, but in places where the Hispanic population is emerging, there is a cavernous gap.
