I work in two industries: 1) Hispanic marketing and advertising (consultant), 2) Realtor (residential & residential income investment properties. The two industries are related for me, as I've consulted builders and real estate companies in their Hispanic outreach, and Hispanics are the majority of my clients in buying and selling properties.
My Hispanic connection is from Spain, but I worked in Hispanic media (TV) and advertising since 1985.
your favorite Latin American city? vacation spot? food?
There are several. Right now I'm thinking of Santo Domingo, D.R. I would go back any time. They have a soup called "auyema" (type of pumkin) that is great. I love Cuban food, but there is a variety of Mexican, Costa Rican (Gallo Pinto) and Argentinean foods that are great. A special enjoyment is arroz con leche with a café con leche, by any country of culture.
