
The article, featured in the Wall Street Journal’s September 16th, 2008 issue in a special diversity recruitment spread, examines the roles of Latinos in corporate and non-profit leadership positions. The author Julie Bennett, explores training and mentoring programs which are in place through various institutions and companies in order to develop and enhance the leadership skills of professional Latinos.
The Wall Street Journal turned to Rob Steward, LatPro’s sales director, as an expert resource on the demand of Hispanic professionals in today’s job market. His contribution supported the conclusion that an increasing number of companies are realizing the value of a multicultural workforce and Hispanic leaders in the workplace.

Five years ago online job board LatPro, in Plantation, Fla., had about 4000 jobs regularly posted on its site; today that number is 7,000 to 8,000 says Rob Steward, vice president of sales.
