NSHP Diversity Career Fair Makes its First Trip to Boston

The National Society for Hispanic Professionals and diversity job board LatPro.com will host a job fair for Hispanic and bilingual professionals at the Sheraton Boston Hotel on Wednesday, May 21st from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – May 5, 2008 – For the first time, the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (NSHP) and LatPro.com will bring their successful nationwide career fair series to the city of Boston. The 2008 diversity career fair schedule includes nine fairs from coast to coast, including the Boston event on May 21, 2008.

Boston, a city known for its culture, diversity, and numerous opportunities for higher education, makes its initial appearance on the NSHP job fair schedule this year. “When we decided to expand our career fair series, we searched for a metropolitan host city with a highly educated workforce and a strong base of companies dedicated to employing diverse professionals. Boston fit the bill perfectly, and we anticipate great success at this event,” said Ricardo Villalba, Events Manager for NSHP.

The NSHP career fair has been specifically designed for bilingual, Hispanic and other diverse candidates, particularly those who speak Spanish or Portuguese in addition to English. This recruiting event provides a unique opportunity for recruiters to meet hundreds of qualified multilingual and multicultural candidates in a single location.

At this professional employment event, which is free for all jobseekers, candidates will gain access to dozens of top area companies, with many hiring organizations actually conducting job interviews at the event.

Confirmed employers attending include: FM Global, Eli Lilly & Company, Genesis Healthcare, Digitas, Commonwealth of Massachusetts and WGBH.
