Eric, It is very good to witness how this site keeps growing to become one of the best social network portal for Latino professionals in the US and surrounding countries. I been using it for a while and keep an eye on opportunities that come from here. Kudos!
Hello Shannon,
I would like to delete my event as I realize this in not a "Networking" site per say like FB. How can I do that, there is no place to edit or delete an event. Thank you.
Eric, I like the site so far. I am guessing I use this like I use Facebook and Linked in?? Any other obvious items I have yet to discover. Again So Far So Good.
I've been following LatPro for about eight years and appreciate the valuable job availability information it offers. I relocated to the Charlotte, NC area (Fort Mill, SC) from Tulsa, OK and find that there are no staffing agencies nor executive placement firms that provide the service required for the approximately 30,000 Hispanics in the area of Mecklenburg County, NC. The only other website that offers bilingual classifieds is "INDEED", and they don't have the amount demanded. So, there still is a wide open market for the bilingual candidates that consistently look for employment, with no informational vehicle.

Went to T'bird for International Trade and Export Management. I'm from Guate. and live in Fort Mill, SC - outskirts of Charlotte, NC, just recently relocated from Tulsa, OKlahoma. This networking experience might bring lots of dividends. Keep in touch.
Eric,
Thank you for creating this Latpro, first time and I have enjoyed the experience. It is truly great that people like yourself can put forth the effort to create a great networking website for people like myself to be introduced to our diverse world.
Yes !! Great to be in touch and wishing you all the best for 2009!!

Hello Eric,
I am a new member of this Network, although I've been using the LatPro's website for my job searchings since almost 4 years ago.
I want to thank you and LatPro staff for the wonderful service that you all offer to us, Latino professionals living in the US.
I actually found my first "American" job through LatPro's website in 2005.
It turned out to be a valuable working experience that caused a very positive impact in my life and career. Just for you to have an idea, I have a very good relationship with my former boss and coworkers! And we are still connected professionally.
Now that I am back on the job market, I've turned to LatPro one more time to help me find my next "American" job. This time with a higher awareness and knowledge of this great country.
Eric - I am sure you will weather this storm. After overcoming the medical crisis, I am sure you have a healthy perspective on the business and life in general. It's amazing how far that will take you. Re: CO, Greg ran Pike's Peak in Manitou Springs. He said it was one of his toughest races given the change in altitude. We would love to return - who knows. Love the view from your house!
Eric - great to hear from you. It has been way too long. Are you in Colorado now? Unfortunately we do not get out west much, but CO has been on my list of places to visit. Greg ran a marathon there last year so I think it will be awhile until we get there. We try to travel with his marathon schedule.
How are things going? How is LatPro weathering the economic storm? How is the familia?
LatPro was launched in 1997 to become the very first job board connecting Hispanic & bilingual professionals with recruiters. We still lead the field, consistently ranking among the top Internet job boards. Now you can join our professional network. While this is designed for you to connect with new people who share your interests it's not for soliciting or promoting any business opportunity - please ask for clarification if in doubt.
